I was diagnosed with IBD in 2006 while studying Electronic Technology in England. By 2012, my inflammation had worsened to the point that I was hospitalized. Doctors suggested colon surgery and even told me that, given my condition, I might not be able to have children.
After a year on Humira, my inflammation settled, but I developed a deep fear of eating dairy—despite my love for cheese and cream. When I moved to the U.S., I found an incredible GI doctor in California and began educating myself about supplements and different dietary approaches. I even went gluten-free for six months and experimented with various diets. For years, I remained symptom-free, and I will never forget the moment my specialist told me, “Now you can go and have some babies.” It was the best day of my life. I knew the risks—some people see their symptoms worsen—but in my case, my health improved.
Years later, I was able to enjoy dairy again and all the foods I had once missed. Today, I am the proud and healthy mother of two precious children.
But my journey didn’t stop there.
After my first child was born, I left my career to become a stay-at-home mom. It was challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. I started coaching friends and family, encouraging them to prioritize their health and well-being.
Two years ago, I faced a tough period when I realized I had stopped taking one of my key supplements. I also noticed gaps in my diet, and my immune system suffered—I caught every cold my children brought home. Even though I had always eaten healthily and cooked from scratch 5-6 times a week, something was missing.
I continued learning, taking online courses in nutrition and overall health. I introduced fermented foods into my diet and began baking sourdough bread. Over time, I saw real improvements. My understanding of my body, my inflammation, and my health deepened.
Today, I enjoy all foods, including dairy, and love making and baking a variety of dishes. After 18 years, I finally have control over my health. Deep down, I always believed that I could one day be symptom-free, have children, and live without medication.
Now, my mission is to bring my 18 years of experience into my coaching—to help you believe in your ability to heal and to empower you to live a life free from illness, full of vitality and joy.
